I have tried 2 different ways of making a dropdown for the recurring event option. Both ways still do not work.
I am wondering does it have anything to do with my version being: 3.1.27.P ?
Method 1 Attempted:

**There were any files in ploads/espresso/templates/css-dropdown originally. Even after I add them, all that displays on the regular page is [EVENT_CSS_DROPDOWN]
Is this because I am not up to date on the latest version? Otherwise, are there any better write up on making the dropdown menu working?

Ok! that solved the issue. However, is there anyway where I can separate the different event types? I am still looking on the forum for it so I apologize if there’s a write up on this already.

Hi Richard,
You can use the category_identifier attribute so that only events from one category will display in each dropdown:
[EVENT_CSS_DROPDOWN category_identifier=your_category_identifier]
You can create event categories by following this guide:
