I was wondering if the Recurring Events addon supports date exceptions in the series? i.e. I have a weekly event but on specific dates, it’s not happening so I enter the exception date and it deletes that instance. … and, I hate to bring this up, but I am a little shocked at the $40 (which is actually $10 discount) of this addon, which adds modest capabilities to EE which most competitors include with their non-free version. Don’t get me wrong, I really like EE but find the TCO pretty steep when you consider addons @ $40+ each.

The best way to remove a recurring date is just to delete the event on the scheduled date. To add exceptions will just complicate the functionality when the same can be done by just deleting the single event in the series. Does that make sense? Adding exceptions like that would make it more difficult to code and then support which would only increase TCO.
The TCO is affordable given all you can do with Event Espresso, and the Business License makes each add-on $11.25 which is more value and a lower price than you’ll find anywhere else.
we will agree to disagree on the TCO thing as you are suggesting I pay $90 more to get 1 addon I want and 7 I don’t to lower the average cost of an addon 😉
… but I am over it so let’s mark this as resolved.
