RECIPIENT don't get emails

Hi EventEspresso Support Team,
I have the issue, that attendees (not primary attendees) don’t get the correct email or at least the wrong name is in the email. I checked the email templates, and the short code is correct, but I get the wrong values. I also noticed, that attendees, that purchase a ticket for 0.00$ don’t get any email at all.
How can this be resolved?

Hi there,

What name is shown in the email? Is it the Primary Registrants?

Are you collecting the ‘Personal Information’ question grop for your additional attendees?

I checked the email templates, and the short code is correct, but I get the wrong values.

Can you post and example? Which message template? Which context are you checking and which shortcode parses to which value?

I also noticed, that attendees, that purchase a ticket for 0.00$ don’t get any email at all.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message templates.

Find the registration approved message template and look at the contexts for that template, which ones are ‘active’ (link will be blue) and which are in-active (link will be grey)?

If your using a custom message template for the event you would check this within the Custom Message templates tab and find the templates in use for the event there.
