Receiving PayPal error even though I have a business account

Hello,

I have a paypal business account but when I enter the account info I receive an alert on the plug in itself:

Attention!
For PayPal IPN to work, you need a Business or Premier account.

And when I check out I get this error:

We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the “Ask Seller a Question” link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at http://www.paypal.com.

I just updated the plug-in today and it was the first time I saw this issue come up.

Hi Alexander,

It sounds like there may be a problem with your PayPal account. In this case, you could contact PayPal support and check on your account status.

I am noticing I did not have my IPN setting configured on PayPal. They are asking me for a Notification URL, is this one of the pages I created during my initial Event Espresso setup where I added shortcodes to?

Thanks for you help.

Hi Alexander,

Yes, the notification URL will be fine.

Hello,

Still having the same issue. I don’t know how this would be a PayPal problem as everything is set up in my profile for IPN at this point but I will reach out to them.

Here is an example of an event we are trying to connect with payment options:
http://gateways.mediarock.net/registration/?regevent_action=register&event_id=1117

Do any of the authorize.net payment options not require ssl?

Thanks again for your help.

Ok, it looks like it is starting to work. Now I am noticing there is only one method of payment though on the check out page, only with a paypal account. Is there a way to add multiple methods of payment such as entering a credit/debit card on the check out page?

Sorry, please disregard the last statement. This is resolved. Thanks.
