Receiving error code 253

Hi there,

We’re experiencing an error code (253) at the credit card confirmation of payment, any insight on what would be the cause of that? I searched and couldn’t find anything about it. Would that be an error code due to the event espresso plug-in or the payment processor? I’m happy to send along any additional information needed to help get to the bottom!

Hi there,

‘Error 253’ is not an error I recognise so its unlikely to be from Event Espresso and most probably from your payment provider.

EE generates logs when you make a payment so there may be more details in those, if you go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods -> logs.

Each time you attempt to make a payment in creates log entries (depending on the payment method there can be multiple logs for a single payment).

First open up a transaction by clicking on one of the TXN ID’s links on the right, in the ‘gateway response’ field, does it show any more details of this error there?
