Receipt PDF Download Not Working

Hello, I am having issues with PDF downloads of the transaction receipts. I do not have the same issue with the invoices, as they download like normal. It is only when I open the receipt directly or by clicking the ‘Switch to Receipt’ button from the invoice page.

I have seen similar threads in the forum, but none with this specific issue.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Forgot to add, the error being given is the following:

“There has been a critical error on this website.

Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.”

This does not happen with invoices, only receipts.

Can you send me the URL where i can see that. Do you have test invoice/receipts link?

Have you tried troubleshooting? Check this article here.
You can send us the log you have too. In order to generate the log, you have to Enable the debug mode then go to that invoice and click receipt button.

we can also check if there’s some plugin/theme conflict, You can use or any similar plugin.

You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode:

Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode.

That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins troubleshooting mode. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state.

For the receipt link, I am accessing that from the dashboard, so you would have to be logged in to see it.

Did you modify your receipt Code or did create custom receipt? We can check if there’s missing element, you can paste your code to pasteBin or GitHub Gist, then link here.

No, the receipt code has not been modified. I can’t find the section in the settings that your screenshot shows. Can you please specify exactly where that is located?

If it is not modified, can you go to one of your event, then click the global

then you will be able to see the reset template. After that, check if the receipt is working fine.

if not, can you send your log-in to us?

Hi there,

Is there a specific transaction this is happening on?

I’ve opened multiple random receipts from the transactions page and not had a fatal on any so far.
