Reapplying Custom Styling on Event Schedule page

Hi~ Roughly 4 years ago, my developers coded some custom styling for the EE3 calendar page based on our site’s needs (eg: custom thumbnail and date format based on event type). See https://ietstraining.com/schedule/

These styling changes were written into the core php files.

How can we best reapply those customizations in the latest version of EE3. Should we transfer them into a custom template using this addon https://eventespresso.com/product/custom-templates/?

Does that support these type of changes where the thumbnail is dynamic based on event type and the date for our “workshop packages” shows “See level dates” instead of showing a date range?

Would we also need https://eventespresso.com/product/espresso-custom-files/?

Thanks and kind regards!
Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Since these changes are related to the calendar, you do not need either of the add-ons you asked about.

Generally we do not advise making PHP changes directly to the plugin files, but if they must do that, then they can re-apply the changes to the newer version of the calendar add-on.
