I’ve had your plugin for my website for more than a decade and always appreciated it. Your latest update has given me hours of frustration, and I am starting to research alternatives. I’m not sure why you made it so complicated to make simple changes, but it’s a disaster for me. I wanted to change a date on an existing event, and all I could FINALLY figure out is to create a new ticket, which also involved creating a new default ticket and other rabbit holes as well. Do you have a simple video to show how to use its features? Or someone available to meet with me (challenging because I work during most weekdays). Otherwise, I am afraid you will soon lose me as a regular customer.

Hi there,

You don’t need to create default tickets to edit events and add/edit datetimes so I’m not sure whats happened here. I’m guessing you edited an event in which all of the datetimes were expired so then none were shown, is that correct?

If so, the issue is likely the default filters applied when editing an event:

https://monosnap.com/file/qnDyqOhUHduePGtThkWPsNMDvOkHta

The editor automatically filters out datetimes that are expired as to not clutter up the editor with past datetimes.

The tickets section has a filter to ‘LINK’ the display of tickets and datetimes, meaning if the datetime isn’t shown for a ticket, it doesn’t show the ticket for that datetime either. It also filters ticket to show upcoming or onsale tickets:

https://monosnap.com/file/yz8tynMBoypbRr8ggQnTvBRqtJH6Xc

If you click the X next to the filter it removes the filter and will show the datetimes/tickets within the event. From there you can edit and datetime/ticket … or if creating new ones you can duplicate the current ones by clicking this icon:

https://monosnap.com/file/8Dg5b2vVT0zsCiRb3xwdoJO60HkYsU

Then copy ticket/datetime.

You can then click on the icon below it to pick and chose which datetimes the ticket is assigned to.

We don’t currently have any videos for the editor but I can set up a google meet with you to walk over the issues you’re running into if that helps.

If you let me know the days/times that work before for you I’ll see what I can make available around those (Note – I’m based in the UK but can move my days around some to join a meeting).
