Hi all,
So, we want to run an events listing site, that charges for certain events listings.
So this is part events listing and business listings. Business/event listings in that we allow anyone to add an event, but we want to let event organisers claim and event (and pay to do so) thus managing the info on the listing.
It’s event listings in the sense we want tight Gcal and iCal integration.
There are great WP plugins that achieve either biz listings (Sabai for example) or events (WP Events Plugin or The Events Manager) but don’t do both.
Can EE be wrangled to achieve this functionality?
Paid listings might be charged for based on claiming a listing, or, charging for more images (Sabai does all this).

Hi Tim, we’ve seen this requested often but Event Espresso does not work well for managing an event marketplace at this time.
One of the issues is that it doesn’t have an option to handle payments for events. It also cannot direct funds to different merchant accounts for the same payment processor (e.g. Stripe account abc, Stripe account xyz).
