This has happened a couple of times in the past and again today. Some of my customers have received the tickets they already used again via email. How do I fix this where it doesn’t resend days, weeks or months after they already received and used them?
May I ask which email have they received? I’m guessing either ‘ticket notice’ or ‘registration approved’.
Are these definitely duplicate emails and not the original email that hadn’t been sent when they originally finalized the registration? (I’m asking as I’ve seen an issue with WP_CRON + the mail server cause something similar).
Are you using any transactional emails services such as Mandrill, PostMark etc?
