We are creating a new wordpress website and are considering using Event Espresso for our registration needs. However, I am wondering if the plug in integrates with Quickbooks Financial Pro. I see on the forum that it works with Quickbooks Merchant Services but that’s not what I’m referring to. Basically my question is: How does all the customer and sales data collected through the registration process end up in Quickbooks and is that process automated? Thanks in advance for any help!!!!
As you stated, Event Espresso is connected to Quickbooks Merchant Services. All the payee’s contact and transaction information will be stored and available there. Event Espresso stores the registration information and transaction status. Event Espresso does not send the registration information to Quickbooks Financial Pro (or any of their software). We expect that you can get the contact and registration information from Quickbooks into their accounting software. If you want the registration information (answers to the custom registration form questions) you will need to retrieve it from Event Espresso directly (also available with CSV download).
So I’d be downloading info from Events Espresso into an excel file and then uploading it into QB? I use Authorized.net to process credit cards so it doesn’t seem necessary to use QB Merchant Service (isn’t that intuit credit card processor).
What “info” are you talking about specifically? Because if you’re asking several custom questions about the attendee during the registration process, I’m not sure if QB is capable of accepting that type of data in a unified form. I think QB is mostly for organizing transactional data (not attendee or registration data).
