Quickbooks Payment Gateway add-on – using QB in the UK

Hi there. I have an Everything licence so have access to the Quickbooks Payment Gateway addon

the requirements are:
—An account with QuickBooks Payments and QuickBooks Online is required to accept payments.
—A dedicated SSL certificate is recommended to make registration checkout and other areas of your website more secure.

Our organisation is based in the UK. We already use Quickbooks Online, and have an SSL certificate, and there is a UK Version of Quickbooks payments which we could sign up to.

My question is: Can you tell me whether the gateway will only work in the US (which is a common limitation) or will it also work in the UK?

thanks

Alan

Hi Alan,

I could not find anywhere in Intuit’s documentation that answers your question, but I can let you know that the Event Espresso 4 Quickbooks online payment integration sends the connection requests to:

https://appcenter.intuit.com/
and
https://oauth.intuit.com/

and payment API requests to:
https://api.intuit.com/quickbooks/v4/payments/tokens

So if the UK Version of Quickbooks payments uses the above URLs, then it should work.
