I have an issue where I used the recurring events manager to create a bundle of events. Tickets are not shared, but they have the same name. In the event registration view, it lists all the tickets with their names, and no date attached. But they all have the same name during the automated creation process which can be very confusing. I prefer to have the actual event date attached to each ticket. Second question, the multiple events registration feature is great, and the ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event’ setting sets the maximum number for the quantity dropdown. However, for recurring events, how can I limit the quantity per ticket to just 1, but still allow folks to register for multiple events. page URL for reference https://ctlt-events-2024.sites.olt.ubc.ca/events/wordpress-wiki-clinic-online-drop-in/ |

Hi there,
This is not something we currently have available within the recurring events add-on but I do understand this would help here. As it stands, you’ll need to edit each ticket name manually to include the date that the ticket applies for. We’ve had a request for this previously and I’ll add your vote to the feature request to consider for future versions.
So the “Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event” option is an event level settings that applies on the event as a whole, what you need here is the max qty on each individual ticket to be set to 1. Edit the ticket: https://monosnap.com/file/PYjadFDmuxjeeekWfWp7CddDIwr3mR Set the Maxiumum Qty to 1: https://monosnap.com/file/snf3KR7GAyWnWLQxAQQKq6FuHyoexk Save the changes. |

Hi Tony, One more question. As you suggested, I have set the Max Quantity for individual ticket to 1, and the dropdown changes, thanks! However, as a user, I can purchase the same ticket multiple times. Is there a way to stop users from purchasing the same ticket if user has already registered for the date? In the admin interface to view registrants for the events. I understand there is a column specifying the event date registered. However, it would be nice to have a filter that only prints the registrants for specific date of the event. Thanks, |

Sorry. I have now seen the View Registrations button when hover over any of the entry in the registrations table. I think this is good. Still would like to know how to disallow multiple registrations on the same date. Thank you. Best, |

Hi Kelvin, Are you using the WP user integration add-on? If so you can use a snippet like this: https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/10669adfeea322ade3d96a38857fb46b Which adds a notice stating the user has already register, or this: https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/79429c843eef0dd34da899e295b0755d Which can completely remove the ticket selector. Note however, those options will only work if the user has a registration in their own name matching their WP user account profile. |

Hi Tony, Awesome! Thank you so much! Please feel free to resolve this ticket. I will open a new one if I have more questions. Really appreciate your help. Best, |

You’re most welcome, Kelvin 🙂 Marking resolved. |
