Hey, We’re hoping to do some custom things with Event Expresso to suit our client needs and I was wondering if you could shed some light on a couple of things regarding the actions/hooks/filters EE has. Firstly, is there anywhere I can see some documentation on them? I saw this post; https://eventespresso.com/topic/ee4-hooks/, but the link is broken and I couldn’t manage to find anything else. It would be great to have some docs to read so I can see how we might go about doing our customisations. My other question is a bit more specific (although might be answered by the first). Is there something we can hook into, during the registration (where user details are entered) that would allow us to change a ticket type of additional ticket holders that had been selected previously, and update this ticket type when the user comes to payment? Let me know if you need further explanation, it’s a little confusing. Thanks, Harry. |
Hi Harry, You’ll find the updated hooks reference here: While I’m not aware of a hook that would allow for changing ticket types, if you find a place in the Single Page Checkout module where you would benefit from a hook, the development team will welcome your pull request. You can start a pull request on our Github project: |

Hello again! After some experimentation and playing around with the plugin with another developer we’ve managed to get somewhere with this, we just need to know; is there a method we can call on a registration object to change the ticket type (id)? Thanks, Harry. |
Hi Harry, I looked around in my IDE and I couldn’t find a method that changes the ticket selection of the registration object. |

Hello again, We have got in contact with a couple of developers you reccomend on your site (Tigerton & WisdmLabs) to see if they could help us with some customisation with regards to adding the functionality of changing a ticket type during the registration process. I was just wondering if you had any other people that you may reccomend might be able to help us? Thanks, Harry. |
Hi Harry, I don’t not, but there are a few other developers listed over there on the Event Espresso Pro’s page. |
