We’re working on different ticket ‘types’ for an event and would like to add different questions upon registration, alternatively, can we add custom fields to tickets where the registrant can fill in some extra information?
Hi, questions and question groups are currently set on a per-event basis and can’t be set by tickets. This is something that is on our feature list and we are exploring options for how to handle this.
Could that information be captured in a general question with a field for textarea?
The system wasn’t really designed to have per ticket questions. It may be possible to go in and change something in core to make it work, but I suspect it would be a pretty big job. Before taking it on, you might look for easier alternatives, like having the questions appear for all tickets, but hiding certain questions using CSS and JS unless a certain ticket is selected. I would think that would be the path of least resistance.
