In the questions tab, there are three default questions: First Name, Last Name, and Email. I want these to say Child’s First Name, Child’s Last Name, and Registered Parent Email. I know I can change this manually, but every time I create a new Regional Manager, I have to go in and change those questions. I know this isn’t what you guys usually help with, but can you please help me change it so that these questions default to what I want? Thank you in advance for your help

Hello Edward, If this is site wide, then the easiest thing to do is to edit the language file to replace the First Name with Childs First name. We have a guide here https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/. Of course you may need to update this from time to time as the language files grow/change. |

Hey Dean, I am a little confused. Does this mean anywhere on my site it says email it is going to change it to registered parent email? |
|
Hi Edward, Sorry I think I misunderstood. Basically to change those default questions automatically, you would need to change one of the core files before installing Event Espresso for the first time. Otherwise you will need to change the database to edit what they say. Otherwise it will remain a manual process. Of course any changes to the core files or database may affect how Event Espresso and your overall site works, so it is not recommended. |

I can’t find it anywhere in the database. Any clues where that would be hidden? |
|
Hi The questions are all located in *_events_question where * equals your database prefix. Again I must stress to be careful with changes made to your database and to back it up fully before attempting any changes. |

So all the one’s in the database say Child’s First Name because I changed them manually in the questions area of event espresso already. The problem is when I add a new regional manager, their questions revert back to name and don’t keep child’s first name. Is that being more clear? |

Let me refer to a developer on this, see if I can get a clearer answer for you. |
