Is there any way of giving a set of questions to customers (preferably whilst retaining their contact details) after they’ve made their purchase (I’ll be using PayPal Standard)?
I’m just thinking that it’s important for me not to annoy them by making them fill in this information beforehand and risk them not bothering to make the purchase at all.
If not, do you recommend that I customize the confirmation page with a form or link to a page with a form? Or possibly a better solution?
It was more of a health questionnaire, it looks like I’ll have to look into a different solution to automatically email them it as a separate form. I guess I could export the contact list in CSV format and email them manually?
Or could I edit the email confirmation to include it?
EE4 includes a batch email/mass email feature that allows you to send a message to attendees/registrants for an event.
It needs to be turned on through the settings screen for the Messages system (Event Espresso –> Messages –> Settings). Once on this page, drag the newsletter to active.
Then you can go to the registrations screen for this event and select the registrants and scroll down and click on the batch email button. From there, you can compose your message and send it.
The other option is to create a custom registration approved message type for this event and then include a link to your questionnaire.
