Hello, before purchasing Event Espresso I’ve to be sure that it will meet my needs, so I’ve a couple of questions about ticketing add-on and mobile app.
1. At the door, it’s possible to validate tickets (specifically a group ticket) by time with the mobile app? For example, I need that people can only use his ticket the day X, between 5pm to 8pm, so app must accept tickets only in this time interval, and if people are going to the event for example at 8:30pm, the app will reject the ticket.
2. I read that the iOs app has some problems with login, having a “blog returned invalid data” error. It’s currently resolved or there is a fix for this problem?

Hello Eduard,

1. Currently you aren’t able to set limitations on the ticketing that allows you restrict ticket holders to a specific time frame.

2. Errors like this are usually due to the espresso-services not being installed and are easily fixed. I am not aware of any issues with the ticketing app at this time.

Thanks for reply Jonathan. Can you help me with another question?
Can I assign an event to a specific wordpress user, so when you login in the application to scan attendees and read QR codes, only that specific user will see events that are assigned to him and not all events?

Hello Eduard,

There are two parts to your question:

1) Can you assign events ot a particular user – yes and no, you can use the Roles and Permissions Basic and Pro add ons to allow users to be given rights for Event Espresso to create events, for example the Events Manager. These users can only see their own events on logging in, unless given admin rights.

2) Can these users scan only their events – right now no. The scanning system is set up so only a user with admin level rights can log into it and as such they can see all the events.
