Questions about adjusting the archives page

Hello,

I’ve been working on adjusting the look and feel of the event archive/listing page with some good success. However, I do have a few questions to finish things up.

First, here’s a screenshot of how things currently look:

My questions are:

1. How do we get this list to show like this (with all the same look and feel) on a page that we can edit? We’d like to add some additional text and links and info to the top of the page but the archive page isn’t editable. I’ve tried the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode, but it loses a lot of the formatting. (We’re using the generatepress theme if that matters/helps)

2. Is there a way to have the ‘Register Now’ button go away or change to say something like ‘View Details” when the event is Sold Out?

3. Is there a way to show just the name of the venue? I’ve tried enabling venue details but it shows everything from the venue details page.

4. Do you have any suggestions on trying to minimize the vertical height of the listing on desktop? We have a lot of events and would like to try and “tighten it up” if possible.

Thanks! Going to drop a support token in on this one.

Hi Jason,

Just noting there that this is being worked on via a support token as otherwise this thread looks unanswered 🙂
