Prior to the latest update on May 1st or 2nd, 2017, emails with the QUESTION_LIST parameter configured would show the question and answer on one line.
Configured like this: [QUESTION] [ANSWER] <br>
After the update, those fields are bounded by P tags and are on multiple lines bounded by mucho whitespace (as is common with P tags).
I like the concise single-line way it looked before, and my tags are also being ignored. The emails have doubled in length (lots of questions and answers), and printing them is requiring extra paper. Is there any way to customize my Question List further?
I have tried the Unordered List in a previous post with no success – the P tags override everything.
Email source files can be submitted if requested. I’d rather not post them here.

Looks like inserting code into messages didn’t quite work in my previous message.
“Configured like this” should read: <li><strong>[QUESTION]</strong> [ANSWER] </li>

Update: Event Espresso 4.9.39.p was released today and it includes the fix for the issue you reported here.
