I use this software to sell COURSES. I need to collect a WAIVER from my participants and prefer to do it during registration. I created a Question Group for the terms and conditions agreement and added a checkbox question that has a 2 paragraph string of text. It wraps in the ADMIN Dashboard screens, but when displayed on the User’s Registration Form, the string disappears off the page because it will not WRAP. Check it out on this example link: http://nhnsp.org/topshack/?page_id=332®event_action=register&event_id=136 Can you give me a line of code to add to the TEMPLATE and tell me which PHP file to put it into? |

Actually… It will not WRAP on Microsoft INTERNET EXPLORER 9. It seems to wrap well on FireFox and Chrome. Most of my customers will be using Internet Explorer. Any ideas for a fix? |

Internet Explorer is generally not nice to work with, but the answer will lie in the CSS. The class in question is This would be added to the themes style.css file. |
Hi there, An alternative that I can recommend that involves no coding is to place the waiver text in the Question Group Description. Then you can place a short amount of text in the actual question field like: There is actually a technical reason why IE doesn’t line-wrap text that is marked up within a Legend tag, and while this behavior can be hacked, I would go with the solution that places the long form text into the question group description. |

Great Idea! I switched it to Josh’s concept, but only 100 characters display. I need to find a way to show just under 2100 text charactwers. I’m opening up the template CSS, any ideas would be appreciated.. Thank you! |

I got it working! Thanks, I put the two paragraphs into the DESCRIPTION field and everything looks great! Check it out with this link: Test Event with Disclaimer checkbox I think I’m going to add Event Espresso to my Lacrosse website too. |
