Hi, adathjeshurun.org is having the same problem getting the JSON to work for the QR reader for iPhone 4 that the site had on the following topic:
https://eventespresso.com/topic/ticketing-app-login-404-error-on-iphone/

We have EE3 since this February. JSON app installed on iPhone in April.
Our test works just fine:
http://adathjeshurun.org/espresso-api/v1/events/public.pretty_json

We have tried using all of the below options as endpoint url’s on the iPhone but none of them are working. The last one is where the actual site files are, the 2nd one is where all WordPress files are

http://www.adathjeshurun.org

http://www.adathjeshurun.org/wp

http://www.adathjeshurun.org/wp/wp-content

http://www.adathjeshurun.org/wp/wp-content/themes

http://www.adathjeshurun.org/wp/wp-content/themes/adath

(For a different Q we had we sent Seth Shoultes admin credentials to our site on Feb 25. Those work again if you still have that user info. Feel free to poke around.)

Would love to know what we’re doing wrong.

Thanks,
Sheree

Hi Sheree,

Is there a specific error message that is appearing?

Also, are you logging in with your WordPress administrator account?

Hi Sheree,

The correct website URL to log in to with the app is:

http://adathjeshurun.org/

Please also be sure that you have version 1.6.2 of the app. It will have the HD label on its app icon. This is its iTunes preview page:

https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/event-espresso-hd/id604494948?mt=8

The older app doesn’t connect with the JSON API.

Thanks Lorenzo. Turns out she was using the Event Espresso login and not her WordPress website login. This part is resolved. Thanks so much. She just did a test scan and it scanned a QR code (now we just have to figure out where that info went once she scanned it! We might be back.)

Thanks Josh. We did have the right version and HD. So it was just the wrong account.
