Doing some testing and trying to understand why the QR code that is being generated in the confirmation email comes up no image. I can see it in my mail client on the laptop but not on the phone. I’m also experiencing not being able to load the ticket from the link provided in the confirmation link when loading it from my iPhone. Any support with this would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi Luis,

Although I have no iPhone to test this on, have you confirmed that your email is allowing images? Often they are turned off on mobile devices.

When loading the ticket, does it come up with an error? IS it a white screen? Any additional info would be very helpful.

Hello Dean thanks for the response. Basically I’m receiving a broken image link with a question mark within the email on the phone. The email client on the laptop works fine. Just not displaying on the phone. Also, when clicking on the link to view ticket on the phone the url doesn’t load, it loads my home page instead. On the laptop, everything works. I have “load remote images” turned on in my mail settings on my phone. Have tried this on a 3Gs and 4s

Hi Luis,

This sounds like a possible plugin conflict, or possibly something is not right with the .htaccess file/permalink settings.

I’ve tested this a few different ways of my iPhone4, one way by opening an email over mobile Safari, and another way by opening the built in Mail app and it’s working for me. In the mail app, when I swipe to the bottom of the email, there’s a button that lets me load the qr code image.

You can rule out a theme/plugin conflict by deactivating the other WordPress plugins installed on the site, and temporarily switching to the twentyeleven theme. Then you can switch them back on, testing each time one gets added.

Hey Josh, I did not have a button to show images in my email client, however, I did go to my gmail directly on my desktop and located the email and set the options to load images from this sender.. Upon doing that, I forwarded the original email to myself and viola, the image is now showing on my iPhone and also click the link to download the ticket also is now loading the ticket. It seems you have to do this in the main email app as the email client will just inherit the setting. Anyways, thanks!
