Purchase order Setup

My Purchase Order option seems to work, but no emails are sent, so maybe it’s not working.

Things I’ve done
– Gone to the Payment settings page and activated the “Purchase Order Option”
-This is all I’ve done.
Do I need to take extra steps to get it going?

Hi,

Please check your General Settings. If the option “Send registration confirmation emails before payment is received?” is set to No, then emails will not go out to the Purchase Order users.

I checked the box to “yes” like you mentioned and I do receive the confirmation email that the order has been made.(This is good:)

However,
I have not received the email to let me know that the visitor has signed up.
I’m not sure where the email for this is being pulled, but I think it’s being pulled from the General Settings-> Primary contact email:

Or:
Is this being pulled from the attached Paypal account?

Either way, I have not received an email to notify me that the customer has signed up through the Purchase Order Process.

FYI, I am new to the whole Purchase Order process in any regard.

Hi Garth,

The email notifications should be sent automatically with no additional configuration needed.

Could you tell us if regular WordPress notifications are received (e.g. password resets, new comment on blog post).

Also, have you had a chance to check your junk mail folder?

Hello,
It doesn’t look like I am receiving any emails, after trying your trouble shooting.
It also is not going to my junk mail folder.( which I also didn’t think of checking )

I’ve turned all plugins off, except for event espresso, and still no luck getting the email to show up after ( changing user password, or commenting on a post )

I’ve also switched themes and the post comment notifications are not being sent still….
Any thoughts which direction for me to head?

Alright, excluding Event Espresso, do regular WordPress email notifications work (e.g. password reset emails, new user registrations)?

Try the Postmark or the Mandrill email transactional service:
