A flat discount (aka Earlybird) for all prices in an event. With both percentage and amount discount and expiry date. Saved us a lot of time creating double prices now in each event
This was a standard feature in EE3

Hi there,
It turns out this feature is already included with the Promotions add-on. The Promotional pricing without discount codes will be applied to all prices in the event automatically.

Yes we bought this a few weeks back, perhaps got stuck on proper implimentation…
Our events with EE3 always had a blanket amount for all pricies within each event.
Each event has a different start and end date and our early bird discounts always end 7 days before each event begins.
In EE3 this was simple with the discount offered for each event when created.
So am I correct in assuming we have to create a discount in the Promo plugin for each event that takes a certain dollar value off each ticket price?
(Hope this makes sense)

You can use it that way, yes.

WHich adds a lot of work for our Admin staff… basically I was looking for the discount box that is on EE3 Events page… 2 clicks and it’s done and we never had to refer to it again and the transition at expiry was seamless….

Sorry about that. While it’s not currently in the planning stages, there is an open feature request ticket to add a promotions box within the event editor where promotions can be added right from the event.

Ditto. The discount feature in version 3 was one of my favorites as well. I’d like to see that back in version 4.
