Just wanted to be clear on the proper IPN settings in paypal. I have it turned on in EE.

In paypal I have it turned on and pointing to http://mysite.com/transactions. This page has the [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE] shortcode.

Another question, do I need to set this in paypal, is it necessary?

In order to use the IPN, PayPal requires that you set a URL. Event Espresso should dynamically override this, but usually I set this the notify URL.

Josh,

Do you also set the auto return feature to on and the payment data transfer enabled.
