I’m currently using the promotional code to create Gift Vouchers for our customers, which works pretty well.
Except I want to allow the gift vouchers to be valid for all products within the 12 month date range that is valid for. And we had new events each month.
Am I missing the trick to this or is it currently not possible? I’ve got 300 gift vouchers to upload so I could do with figuring it out before I start.

Hi there,
While it’s currently not possible to apply promo codes to future events, we’re finishing up some work that involves adding an option so a promotion is good for all events (including future events). It should be ready in the upcoming weeks.

Update: The Global Promotion feature is available now as it was included in the latest update of the promotions add-on.

Hi mpurse,
Do you have the MailChimp Add-ons active? If so can you update it to latest version (currently 2.3.1.p) and retest please.

I do but there is not yet an option to upgrade the plugin.

You can force an update check by going to Event Espresso -> General Settings, make no changes and just save the settings.

Ok, now temporarily disable the promotions plugin and then re-activate it.
Does that remove the error?

Can you try deactivating the MailChimp add-on for a moment, then check the Promotions admin?

Nope, I don’t have that option since this error. It shows me only one of my codes (out of several) but I can do nothing to click on it, or anything else.

Can you try deactivating all Event Espresso add-ons except for the promotions add-on? Then check.
