Promotions Affect Taxes switch every day to no

Funny and not understandable why the Affect Taxes Dropdown everyday switch automatically to No? We need it to yes.
Any idea what affects the switching?

While we do not have an idea what’s resetting that option on your website’s options table, there is a way to change the default. Here’s a link to a Github Gist that shows how you can change the default to Yes.

It’s the first example there, and you can add the above to a functions plugin or into your WordPress theme’s functions.php file.
