Hi,
I am using the latest version of EE4 and the Promotions Add On and it’s not working. When I try to create a new promotion, there are no options showing in the ‘Type’ down down. See image here:

Hi Nick,
That might be some CSS of JavaScript from the theme or another plugin hiding those options. If you view the source of the web page, are the options in the HTML?

Can you try deactivating the promotions add-on, the reactivating it? Then after you reactivate it, you can go to Promotions > Settings and save the settings there.

I tried this Josh, but it made no difference – saving the settings and also resetting to defaults made no difference.

Hi Nick,
Can you go to Event Espresso > Pricing, then click the Price Types tab?
In the list on that page, is there one row each for Dollar Discount and Percent Discount?
If not, can you click the Trash link?
If they are in the trash, you can click the Restore links.

Mystery solved Josh. They were indeed in the trash, and I have restored them and successfully created a promo code.
