Hi

I purchased the promotions add on and cannot get it to work or display properly.

I am running:

WordPress Version: 4.6.1, PHP Version: 5.6.28, MySQL Version: 5.6.33, and Event Espresso Version: 4.9.21.p

I have tried deactivating all my plugins and changing the theme to Twenty Sixteen and it still has issues.

When you add the 1st promotion code and save it then it does not display the button to add another one, and you cannot access the first one to alter it. Also the filter options do not work.

This may be the result of a plugin or theme conflict. You can rule out a potential theme or plugin conflict by following these steps:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme, then test. The theme test drive plugin allows for testing another theme without actually changing your site’s theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins. Then you reactivate them one by one, while testing the error condition between each reactivation.
It may also help to turn on debug mode. You can set wp_debug to true by editing the wp-config.php file.
You can use an [FTP client][1] and [a text editor][2] to access change this line to the site’s wp-config.php file:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);

May I ask what happens when you try to edit the promotion. Is there an error in the console?

Can you post a screenshot of the filter options?

Hi Josh

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0BwAigcmLicrkeFY1clpNbGRjeE0?usp=sharing

This is a folder with images in on Google Drive.

Image 1: This is what I see when i click the promotions link in the menu. Once I have created 1 promotion I have not the button to create another one.

Image 2: When I click on ‘test4’ in image 1 I see this.

The screen options at the top of the page does not work and is squashed and none of the functions on the right hand side work.

Thanks for posting the screenshots. So it looks like the default Price Types for discounts that normally can be found in Event Espresso > Pricing were moved to the Trash.

Can you go to Event Espresso > Pricing and click on the Trash link, then restore the trashed Price Types?

Clarification: You’ll need to click on the Price Types tab on the Event Espresso > Pricing page to get to that Trash link.

One word…. Genius.

That has sorted it out, thank you.
