Promotions add on – how to add promotion code on back end

I have added the promotion add on. Is there a way to add a promotion code to an existing registration? My staff has been racking their brain and cant figure out how.

Hi there,

While there isn’t a promo code field on the back end, you can go to the Event Espresso > Transactions page and from there either

A) Click the Apply a Payment button and apply a credit amount where you can input the promo code in the Notes / Extra Accounting field.

or

B) Click on the Receipt icon ( ) then click on the Make a payment link. This will take you to the front end for the transaction where you can apply a promo code.
