Promotions add on difficulty

Hi there,

I downloaded the Promotions add-on, added it to the plugins page of my staging site through WPengine, and activated the plugin. It is showing on the plugin page but not under the Event Espresso tab. When I try to click on “settings” under the plugin it sends me to a page that says “You do not have access to this route”

Any suggestions on what I can do next to try to sort this out?

Hi there,

It sounds like your account did not get updated with the correct permissions to access the add-on.

Are you logged into the site as an admin? I’m assuming so as you have access to the plugins menu but just checking.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Maintenance -> Reset/Delete Data (tab at the top)

Then click on the “Reset Event Espresso Capabilities” button there (double-check the button you are about to click, some of the options there will remove data from the database).

Does that fix it?
