Promotions Add on: Can it be used to add an additional cost to a ticket?

Hello,

I installed the Promotions Add on for use in discounting tickets, however I have an instance where I need a code that adds on an extra $100. I tried to enter +100 into the ‘discount’ field, but it defaults back to subtracting $100. Is there any code that could fix this?

Hi federallabs,

The Promotions add-on was not built to add a surcharge to ticket prices. It was built to add discounts. You can use the price modifier feature within the ticket editor to add a $100 surcharge, or if someone on your team has a working knowledge of the WordPress plugin API, you could add a surcharge based on the answer to a question on the registration form.
