Hello,
I would like to know the following:
1) Is it possible to apply promotion codes via url parameter? e.g. …/events/myevent?code=20OFF
2) I would need to show the banner message for the promotions that are applied via url parameter. Like the auto applied ones.
3) Is it possible to show the “discounted” price on the event page?

Hi there,
The short answer to each of your questions is no, not currently, at least not without custom development.
1) Is it possible to apply promotion codes via url parameter? e.g. …/events/myevent?code=20OFF
The current system collects the promotion code during checkout on the payment options step, there is no code running to process the promotion code on the ticket selector.
2) I would need to show the banner message for the promotions that are applied via url parameter. Like the auto applied ones.
Similar to the above, there is currently no code running to process the promotions on the ticket selectors/events themselves so this would need custom development.
3) Is it possible to show the “discounted” price on the event page?
No, the promotion hasn’t been processed at that point so the ticket selector has no idea it needs to display a different price.
