Hi there, we have Event Expresso version 3.1.32.2.P.
We have raised some promotional codes. When they are put in on the registration page and you press enter, the amount does not refresh and apply the discount. However it does work if you press “refresh total”. We have had contact from various site visitors who don’t take this step. We could explain it on the site (though I wonder whether they would read it), but is there a way of getting it to refresh when the visitor hits enter?

Hi,
I am assuming this is with Multiple Event Registration (cart)?
If so, clicking off the field will refresh the total., no need to click the refresh button.
Do you have a link to an example event?

Yes indeed we do have the Multiple Event Registration cart, sorry.
I see that when you click away it refreshes, though if you click “Finish registration” to move to the payment screen, it does not refresh the total and asks for payment without the discount. Can we get it to refresh on clicking “Finish Registration”?

Hi Jacqui,
I can a registration, input the ‘Test’ promo code and then immediately click ‘Finish Registration’. The amount request correctly applied the discount amount after filling in the registration details. http://take.ms/Wvzl0
Is that not the case for yourself?
