When ordering more events at the time, how to use promotional code that is valid for only one? When I put multiple ‘events’ in my cart and I have a promotional code that is only valid for the first event, first you get a massage that it has been applied. Directly after you get an error (code is not applicable for the second event)… How can I solve this? cenx Katja

Hello Katja,

If you want the promotional code to apply to more than one event, you need to edit the events you want it to apply to and tick the correct promotional code box in the Event Promotions section on the right hand side and update the event.

The promotional codes now do not discount the entire cart, but will only discount an event that the promotional code is attached to.

Hello Dean,

thanks for you response. But that is just what I want! I have a code for one event, when I put f.i. three events in the cart I get an error because the code is not applicable for all of them.

Please try: code sooner18, applicable for entreekaart, if you order entreekaart and another event you will first see that it’s ok, but when it controlling the second event it will give an error and no discount at all..

Hi Katja,

OK I see the issue. This was a problem we had with previous versions, updating your event espresso should resolve the issue for you.

Hello,

there should be no problems updating from that version, though I always recommend backing up your sites database before carrying out any updates (for Event Espresso, WordPress or any other large plugin).

The only place you may struggle is if you have copied any files to the uploads/espresso directory. Old templates sometime cause issues, as such it is recommended to rename that directory, to enable the new version of Event Espresso to use the default templates.

Event Espresso 3.1.30.X are all compatible with WordPress 3.5.1

what does it cost me to let you change the invoice-pdf (logo, adress and ad the text 21%VAT included?) and when could it be ready?

Hi Katja,

The blog post you are linking to is what gets displayed when the Multi Event Registration add-on is activated, and some one adds a few events to the cart, then hits the view cart button. You can see an example of this on our test drive site.

If you go to our test drive site here:

then instead of clicking register, click “Add to Cart” a few of the events there, then click “View cart”, it will take you to a cart page.

With the invoice, this can be configured in Event Espresso>Payment settings>Invoice Settings. There are fields for address, instructions, and the Logo URL can be copied and pasted from your built-in WordPress media manager.

Yes I see it now Josh, if I had looked better…I hoped it was possible to display all events in a row, and that one then could say how many people to subscribe (0 or more)….

Invoice makes me happy!!
is it possible to pay online?
and to translate the Englisch words like amount due etc.?

There are several ways to modify / translate the text. Via a language file or through a function that uses the gettext filter.

My webmaster tells me that our ideal (via Sisow) is not working with the newer version… Any ideas?

Hi Katja,

If possible please start discussions about new topics in a new thread it helps us manage the forum with more ease.

We do not support any iDEAL gateway other than iDEAL by Mollie. Therefore I can only assume Sisow was managing to work with iDEAL by Mollie but there has been some changes made to the naming conventions since EE version 3.1.30 to stop conflicts with other plugins.
