Hi, I purchased the Promotion and Discounts add-on last night. However, this was done with the impression that I would be able to offer a promotion on the purchase of X amount of tickets. In our case, we want to offer $50.00 off the purchase of two tickets between a select number of days and require a promotion code to receive the discount. I can see how to limit the overall amount of tickets, but I can’t see how to do what I need it to…ie restrict the discount to the purchase of two tickets!
Can the amount of tickets be specified by perhaps creating a custom ticket selector? It looks to me as thought the Promotions add-on is event specific, and not ticket specific. It seems I could simply add another ticket to the event that includes the parameters I need, but I do need to require the promotion code for ticket buyers to receive the discount.
I pretty much got that…which really renders this $80 plugin essentially useless for me.
Can you please submit a feature request? First and foremost, the discounts should be ticket based, and not event based. Each event can have any number of ticket types associated with it. Second, the ability=to base a discount on the number of items/tickets sold as described in my original post would be very useful.
