We made the promotion code be text so it would tell them to enter the code. After a few registrations it automatically flips back to banner. We arent changing anything.
May I ask what exactly is changing to a banner? There’s no setting to change a promotion to have a banner. What happens is if the Code field is empty, then no code is required, and the promotion will display in a banner and automatically be applied. So if you go in to edit the Promotion, is there a promo code in the Code field?
n promotions settings it says Ribbon Banner. If I leave ribbon banner selected then on the registration payment page it has a button that says: Submit.
If I change it from ribbon banner to PLAIN TEXT, then on the payment page it says:
SUBMIT PROMOTION CODE.
The next day or later that day it seems to go back to Ribbon Banner without us changing things,
Oh in that case there may be another plugin that’s resetting the Promotions add-on’s settings in the background.
Do you have the current version of EE4 and the current version of Promotions add-on activated? Are there other WordPress plugins installed on this site?
Yes we have the current version of both. We have others but not too many. Is there something special perhaps with WP rocket?
Is there another way to have a special button with text that would be less shakey ?
Please do let us know if you still have problems with the above.
