Hello,
I have successfully added a Discount code to my event and it works great. The issue is that when I click the ‘Submit Promotion Code’ button, it automatically completes the registration without allowing me the chance to review the discount. Is there a way to change the ‘Submit Promotion Code’ button to an ‘Apply Discount’? There is already a button on the page that handles submitting the registration.

Hi there,
May I ask was the amount of the discount equal to the amount of the order? If so that’s intended. If not, please set up an example discount code we can use to investigate further.

Yes, the discount is 100%. Are there any loopholes I could put into place?
If you’d like to investigate, use speaker2018 as the code.

Hi there,
Since the discount code is 100% it’s actually expected to automatically finalize the registration because it skips the payment step (no need for a payment step when the discount code is 100%).
