The promotion field is not appearing on the website. Also, I cannot filed the promotion option in the dashboard. Please help ASAP. I am running a campaign and people cannot register without the promo code.

Here is a webpage as an example.

Hi there,

May I ask is the Promotions add-on installed and activated on your website? If you’re not sure, you can go to the WordPress Dashboard, then click on the Plugins page, then click on the “Active” link. This will show a list of activated plugins on your site, and you’ll look for “Event Espresso – Promotions (EE 4.9.10+)” in that list. If you do not see the promotions add-on listed there, you can check the “Inactive” plugins list.

You may need to activate the Promotions add-on or if it’s not installed, you can download the add-on from your account page, then install it by following this guide:

where is the promo code field? It is not there.

You’ll need to install the Promotions add-on. After you install it there will be a promo code field displayed on the payment options step during checkout.

First of all, thank for your help.
Secondly, why was it suddenly deactivated?! How can I avoid in in future? Very frustrating.
Third, I click on “activate” and this is the message:
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0

Four, 🙂 🙂 can you do this for me?!?! 🙂 🙂

There’s a lot of reasons a plugin can deactivate…

Third, I click on “activate” and this is the message:
Fatal error: Unknown: in Unknown on line 0

The cause of that error is likely what caused the plugin to de-activate.

That error is likely caused by a plugin conflict, have you recently install any new plugins?

You’ll need to de-activate all Non-EE plugins and see if the Promotions add-on actives then, if it does, go through and activate each of your other plugins one by one to find which one then casues the above error with the promotions add-on actived.

Four, can you do this for me?!?!

Sure, however, because this isn’t an ‘error’ in our code and appears to be a conflict with another plugin, you’ll need to purchase a support token.

Well… the website crash. Please advise.

Any errors shown on the site? Check the servers error logs and see what error is being thrown then ‘the site crashes’.
