Hey I was checking the forum and around online before I messaged. I saw people asking about applying a code to a ticket within an event. I am wondering if codes can be applied to an event category? So rather than applying the code to each event individually, applying it to a category? Do-able?
Currently, promotions can only apply to the event objects themselves.
You would need to add your own ‘promotion scope’ into the system and there are hooks available in the promotion add-on to do so, then you’d need to hook into the checkout process and define how those promotions apply based on the scope.
So in short, yes, it’s doable but we don’t have anything to do it at this time.
