Hello, I have set up some promo code but now would like to customize them and am not sure how. I would like to offer $5 or $10 or even half price tickets with a promo code. This works great if someone is only buying one ticket. But, if someone buys more than one ticket, and they use the promo code, they receive $5 off the total amount purchased versus per ticket. How can I customize so that the discount comes off the item purchased rather than the total amount purchased. Thanks! Hi Caroline,
I checked your site and I can see the ticket price for that event is $25. What you can do is set up the each promo code as Type: Percent. This way, a 20% will discount $5 off each ticket, 40% will discount $10 off each ticket, and so on.

We have used that in the past but then when someone adds on a donation, the donation gets discounted too. Anyway to get around that?

Sure, if you use a separate plugin for donations, like one of the plugins listed here:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/donations/
then the donations will not be affected by promo codes applied to tickets.
