Please note that this promotion’s Scope selector has been disabled because it has been redeemed at least once. This is done to maintain accounting accuracy.

I have my event set for no limit – not exclusive – applying to one event only. I want it to be for every registration even if there are multiple per event.

It was working until last night someone registered 5 people and the discount was split amoung the 5 instead of each.

Update – on the front end of the website – the promo code does work! Not sure why it has that message on the back end. Is there a way to make sure it applies to each registration rather than total order?

Hi Laurie,

Please note that this promotion’s Scope selector has been disabled because it has been redeemed at least once. This is done to maintain accounting accuracy.

The notice you see in the admin is shown because the promotion has already been applied at least once, so you then cant’ change how that promotion is set up.

For example if you have a promotion that applied to the event scope and someone used it, then you altered the promotion and changed it to apply on a ‘ticket’ scope (which isn’t available currently but using as an example) then the promotion wouldn’t know how it should be applied if you view the registrations.

Which leads onto your second question:

I have my event set for no limit – not exclusive – applying to one event only. I want it to be for every registration even if there are multiple per event.

It was working until last night someone registered 5 people and the discount was split amoung the 5 instead of each.

Promotions currently apply onto events, meaning you’ll get whatever discount you set based on the event itself. We currently do now have the option to apply promotions per registration/ticket.

how do I set it up per ticket for the next time? Do I need to download an updated plug in? When I do that will it affect my current promotions redeemed?

We currently do now have the option to apply promotions per registration/ticket.

The current/latest version of the EE4 Promotions plugin does not have the ability to apply promotions per ticket/registration, only per event.

We currently do now have the option to apply promotions per registration/ticket.

Should that be ‘do not’? EE4 has never had the ability to apply promotions per ticket.
