Hi guys,
I’d like to give someone a promo code for 15% off any event, but only allow it to be used once. It appears to me that it’s on a per event basis, so they would be able to use it once per event. Is that correct, and is there a way to limit it to 1 use regardless of which event they choose?
Also, is there a way to have the promo code be allowed to be applied to future events (events that are not created yet)? It appears that you can only apply it to current events.

Hi there,
Yes, that is correct.
The uses field on a promotion code is ‘per scope item’, meaning per event in this case. Event Espresso currently does not have an option for a single, one-time use promotion code.
Also, is there a way to have the promo code be allowed to be applied to future events (events that are not created yet)? It appears that you can only apply it to current events.
If you set the Promotion code to apply globally it will apply to all events, edit the promotion code and change ‘Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items’ to Yes.
