Hi-
I have one promo code being applied globally for 5 different events. As I am testing the registration process the promo code keeps being limited even though the number of use box is blank. I have also tried putting 1000,000 in the use box and I still get the error when I test the form. Is there another setting I am missing?
I have also selected all of the events in the box to the right.

Hi Betsy,

May I ask what is the error message you see when you try to test the promo code?

Hi there,

I have one promo code being applied globally for 5 different events.

So the promo is a global promotion code? As in the ‘Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items’ is set to yes, or you have selected all of your events?

As I am testing the registration process the promo code keeps being limited even though the number of use box is blank. I have also tried putting 1000,000 in the use box and I still get the error when I test the form.

What error are you getting?

Can you post the full steps you are taking to test this?

Apply Promo to ALL Scope Items is set to Yes.
The events in the sidebar are also selected. Now that the first one is grey’d out I can’t deselect it.
The error message I get is:
We’re sorry, but the “ASPEN U 10% Volume Discount” Promotion has already been applied to the “Attend ASPEN University in Shreveport, LA February 5th – 9th 2018” Event, and can not be applied more than once per Event.

Should I delete the promo and re-create it without the sidebar selection?

FYI I am also getting the error on other event locations that do not show gray’ed out in the sidebar.

May I ask are you trying to apply the promo code more than once at checkout?
