Hi, I’ve double checked the documentation, but I just want to confirm: if I create a promo code that I want to be a 50% discount, I put 50 in the price discount field, right? Then check YES (that this is a percent discount).
I wasn’t sure about this since after doing that and looking at the list of created promo codes for my site, the one with the percent discount shows 50.00. I just want to make sure it will discount the price 50% and not by $50. It was a little confusing since I expected to see something like .5 and not 50.00. Can you confirm that this will be a 50% discount? Thanks!

Hi Jennifer,
The field accepts both a flat rate discount and percentage discount. However the toggle for percentage discount sets Event Espresso to use one or the other.
For 50%, enter 50 and be sure the percentage toggle is set to yes.
