In Event Espresso > Transactions > View Transaction administrators can apply a Promo Discount Code for a $ amount and the discount is applied to each ticket and thus cumulative on the total. However, if we apply a discount code for a % amount, the discount is applied to the total not the individual ticket.
Problem
In our use case for event registrations, our customers may bill different departments for different attendees registered in the same transaction. It is important to show final ticket price with discount vs discount applied on total. Is it possible to apply discount % on each ticket like $?

Hi there,
Not currently, however, Event Espresso does no apply promotions to individual tickets within a transaction, it applies the discount to events within the transaction and this is the same for both $ and % discounts.
So applying a fixed dollar discount on a transaction on the front-end or within the admin still applies the promotion to the event(s) themselves.
Can you post a screenshot that shows the promotion being applied to each individual ticket within a transaction, please? I can’t reproduce that and it isn’t expected.
