Promo Code declined message

Hi guys,

I’m looking to change the text of when a promo code is not valid. I came across this post: https://eventespresso.com/topic/promo-code-declined-message/

But get the error (without changing anything within the code provided in that forum post):

Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 119 of file wp-content/plugins/site-plugin/customizations.php. Please fix and try saving again.

syntax error, unexpected 're' (T_STRING), expecting ')'

Can you help me change that text?

Hi Derek,

That snippet wasn’t actually tested. The single quote needs to be escaped with a slash. e.g. 'We\'re sorry,
