Promo code applying automatically

Hello, I’m having a new issue where a promocode for a specific event is automatically being applied to every ticket as long as there are incidents available for the promocode. I have changed anything on my site so I’m not sure why that would happen…

Hi there,

Would you mind sharing what the problem was incase anyone else runs into the same problem?

I’m guessing the promotion code did not have a ‘code’ set and therefor it will automatically apply to all events, is that what the problem was?

You’re exactly correct! I named the code but didn’t actually generate one.
