Problems after a site move

I recently moved my client’s site to a new server. I am seeing some problems with user registration for events. Upon entering payment, users are being redirected to a blank page, and the payment is not going through to Authorize.net. The registration is occurring, but the attendee is not paid.

Hi Cathy,

Was the database migrated with a tool like WP Migrate DB? If not, then it sounds like there are file paths from the old server that were not updated to point to the new server. You should be able to go through and update all of Event Espresso’s page settings and the payment gateways settings, or migrate the database settings for file paths and urls using a database search and replace script.

Along with that, you can find out the error that’s causing the blank page by turning on WordPress debug mode.

The file paths are identical on both servers. That isn’t a problem.

cUrl support, however, seems to be a problem. There is no indicator on the status page that cUrl support is required. That it is disabled is in green, presumably because fsockopen is a reasonable substitute (and is enabled). if cUrl support is required, that should be indicated on the status page. If it had been so indicated (in red, perhaps, like other misconfigurations are), I would have just enabled it rather than spending $70 on a support ticket.
